Perfect Rice Every Time
1/3 cup uncooked rice=1 cup cooked rice.
Use 2/3 cup water for each 1/3 cup uncooked rice
Add 1/4 tsp salt for each 1/3 cup of uncooked rice.
Heat rice, water and salt to boiling, stirring once or twice; reduce heat to simmer. Cover tightly and simmer 14 minutes (do not lift cover or stir).
Remove from heat, fluff rice lightly with a fork; cover and let steam for 5-10 minutes.
